The
Élet Esély Autistákat Segítő Egyesület (The Life and Chance Service
for Autists ) was created in the spring of 1999 by the parents of
these autist children. They wanted to create a center where their
children can live when they grow up in a safe environment so they
are able to live their lifes as self-sufficient as possible. Ten
young handicapped have been living in a three floor house called
Fészek Fogyatékosok Otthona ( The Nest of Handicapped Home ) in
Kozármisleny for eight years.
Our principles are: normalization, intergration, participation so
the inhabitants can decide about the basic questions in life.
The young ones who live here can't work outside the Home. Our aim
is to give them daily work depending on what abilaties they have.
The Home get's a lot of help from the the community and local government
of Kozármisleny as well .The community is used to seeing the handicaped
in the streets, shops and the consulting room.
We are active participents of the organizations of Kozármisleny.
The town asks us recently to present our products and plays.
We also organize our Sence Forming Day, where the citizens and the
outskirts of Kozármisleny can peep inside the lives and difficulties
that they have to live with.
